Arizona Avenue Visions

Once a bustling center of logging activity, the north side of the Old Mill Marketplace remained mostly underutilized and stagnant until recent years. In 2015 Stemach Design + Architecture was given the profound opportunity to play an instrumental role in creating a vision for the north side of the Historic Box Factory. The vision gave new access to the north entrances and resurrected lost energy along the Arizona Ave frontages.

In addition to facilitating tenant improvements for a pack of new businesses along Arizona Ave, Stacey and Rachel orchestrated significant modifications to the breezeway entrance connecting the north and south sides of the factory, better defining this access point while maintaining a reference to the building’s significant place in local history.
