This spectacular piece of design ingenuity was created specifically for the entry vestibule at the Bend Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore and donated to the store upon opening in December 2014. The fixture was lovingly constructed by staff right in the Stemach Design + Architecture offices using entirely donated and reclaimed materials. Partnering with Don Parker of Celadon Custom Cabinetry, the team fabricated the top of the light using a donated shipment of blue buggy pine. Reclaimed copper shapes the unmistakable pipe work and 20 energy efficient LED bulbs will glow warmly from in the store’s entryway for up to 35,000 hours.
